A Message from Fifty Point Yacht Club

24 August 2022

Welcome to Fifty Point Yacht Club! We are located within the marina at Fifty Point Conservation Area on the south shore of Lake Ontario in Stoney Creek. The park and marina are operated by the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA), which opened to the public in 1984. A group of enthusiastic boaters founded FPYC the same year.

Our yacht club members rent slips from HCA and welcome all visiting yacht clubs, offering a free slip for the first night of your stay at the marina. We believe we have one of the best stops on Lake Ontario. We are part of an 80 hectare park with walking trails, a beach and dog beach. While at Fifty Point, you may enjoy many activities such as a BBQ, picnic, cycling, fishing, hiking, swimming, anchoring off the beach for the afternoon, or relax with a meal at Limani at Fifty Taverna overlooking the harbour. But whatever your reason, a visit to Fifty Point will not disappoint.

The marina has docking spaces for 340 boats, a double boat launch and a 40 ton travel lift. Other marina facilities include a fully serviced gas dock and pump-out station. They also have visitor docks, hydro hook-ups, water, showers, washrooms and winter storage facilities. If you would like to reserve a slip at Fifty Point, please contact the marina office at 905-525-2187 or fiftypt@conversationhamilton.ca. Marina staff monitor VHF Channel 68.

Our members appreciate the friendship and hospitality extended by yacht clubs around the Great Lakes and look forward to receiving visitors and an opportunity to reciprocate. We hope to see you at Fifty Point soon!

Best Wishes,
FPYC Board of Directors
